Parker was founded by Richard Parker, an award-winning journalist, publisher and columnist whose work is syndicated by McClatchy-Tribune to more than 400 news outlets in the United States and the world. 

A regular contributor to the Op-Ed section of The New York Times., he is the former associate publisher of The New Republic.
